Four Risk Managers of different nationalities, industries, seniorities, will discuss some of the key soft and hard skills required to be an effective risk manager in the current and future landscape; an “effective risk manager” has to be an enabler of business success, adopting an integrated approach to value chain risk management which goes beyond mere compliance. During the discussion, a strong accent will be put on the importance of education, training and continuous professional development, in order to achieve and to maintain such skills, including the significance in this professional growth path of a professional certification such as rimap® and of attending multinational and multicultural educational events such as rimap® advanced. The last 15 minutes will be dedicated to a Q&A session with the audience which will be encouraged to ask questions about the specific experience of the speakers as well as general questions about rimap®.
